NASA celebrates Apollo and we all honor Niel Armstrong

On August the 25th this celebration occured at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC highlights the success of America’s space program as it met President Kennedy’s challenge of putting a man on the moon by the end of the 1960s. Neil Armstrong, Apollo 11 Commander, who was the first person to set foot on the lunar surface on July 20, 1969, features prominently. A celebration of the Apollo program, as well as human endeavors to space by all nations.

We also want to honor Niel Armstrong, that passed away on August the 25th at the age of 82. The Apollo 11 Commander and first person to walk on the moon, guides us through the history of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration in the half-century since its establishment in 1958.
