Hosted by Harvard University, the forum Riptide discuss Digital Disruption of the News Business. The discussion opens with a welcome from Alex S. Jones, director of the Shorenstein Center, and an introduction from John Huey, former editor-in-chief of Time Inc. Tim Armstrong, Chairman and CEO of AOL, Caroline Little, president and CEO of the Newspaper Association of America, and Arthur Sulzberger Jr., publisher of The New York Times, then joined moderator Martin Nisenholt, a senior advisor for The New York Times Company, for a panel discussion on the discussion of the proliferation of digital media and its effect on the news business.


The discussion ranged the rise of digital media to what traditional media companies have done and can do to stay relevant, in the United States and the World.
