UC Riverside Biologist Rich Cardullo discusses how increasing human population is impacting the planet. In this hour-long talk in front of a class of middle school students, Cardullo presents data for how human populations have grown at an alarming rate, and how solutions rely on a well-educated public. This is the first talk in the Earth 101 science lecture series sponsored by the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences and the Science Circle at UC Riverside. Cardullo’s lecture is introduced by science teacher Jeremy Standerfer of the Riverside Unified School District.
