Hosted by The University of California, the San Diego State’s Stanley Maloy presents the direct and indirect consequences of climate change that are shifting the habitats of animals and plants, increasing the spread of infectious diseases, and altering the availability of clean water and food supplies. Maloy is then joined by Alan Sweedler, director of SDSU’s Center for Energy Studies the fourth in the “Silent Spring” series, honoring the 50th anniversary of Rachel Carson’s seminal book that launched the environmental movement.
