Peter Singer: Poverty

Fora TV presents Peter Singer, who argues that a donation of just 1% of the GNP from the world’s affluent nations would halve world poverty. He suggests a scale of donation tailored to an individual’s income level, ranging from 1% to 33%.

Peter Singer is the Ira W. DeCamp Professor of Bioethics in the University Center for Human Values at Princeton University.
