The cyclone named ‘Debbie’ move in over the east coast of Australia today. It has been upgraded to a category 4 hurricane/cyclone on the five-point scale. It’s a real powerhouse in other words.
It is massive and this is particularly clear when you see it from above in the below clip from the International Space Station. It is whipping gusts of up to 263km/h (163mph). Meteorologists expect the region to be hit with 150-500mm of rain on Tuesday, with warnings of floods in low-lying areas.
